Rima Semaan is a proud mom of three spirited kids and one half of the heart-led team behind Hippocampus Creations.
Born and raised in the vibrant UAE, Rima is effortlessly balancing motherhood and work.
Fueled by curiosity and a love for life, Rima is a storyteller at heart, bursting with vibrant energy and a gift for creating magic from nothing; her true joy lies in seeing the sparkles light up in children’s eyes.
She brings that same spirit of discovery to her parenting, encouraging her kids to be the best version of themselves and embrace every opportunity with courage and kindness.
With a deep belief that childhood should be both memorable and magical, Rima pours her energy into creating tools that nurture emotional strength, connection, and core values. For her, it’s not just about raising kids; it’s about raising kind, confident, and conscious humans.
Meet Zeina Balaa
Co-Founder & Chief Imagination Officer
Zeina Balaa is a passionate mom of one energetic little boy and one-half of the dynamic duo behind Hippocampus Creations. Zeina’s journey into the world of value-based play began with a whole lot of love, a pinch of exhaustion, and a mountain of toddler tantrums.
Somewhere between the bedtimes battles and snack negotiations, Zeina realized that raising good humans takes more than just patience- it takes purpose!
So she channeled the chaos into creativity!
With a heart for storytelling and a mission to bring emotional intelligence into every playroom, Zeina blends fun ideas with everyday parenting wisdom. Whether she’s crafting character-driven adventures or brainstorming toys that teach kindness, she’s always thinking of new ways to help kids grow up emotionally strong and values-driven—without losing the magic of being little.
She’s the kind of mom who’ll turn a tantrum into a teachable moment (with a side of giggle) and a reminder that values aren’t just taught, they’re lived, one playful moment at a time.
